Keeping data is crucial now days and we want to have access to it at any time. We carry a USB thumb drive or an external hard drive or use MobileMe from our iPhones. I have an 8GB iPhone 3G and struggle with the storage capacity. Introducing Airstash, a memory extension for you iPhone, let me explain.
As you can see in the picture, Airstash looks like a regular thumb drive that has a USB connector and an SD card slot on the other end. Plug it to your Mac or PC, dump data on the SD card and put it in your pocked when done. According to the manufacturer you will be able to access the data stored on the Airstash using your iPhone wirelessly.
It’s currently unclear to us how the technology works but at CES 2010 it should be revealed. My only concern is the security on this thing…Stay tuned for the updates.
