Mac Rumors received word from Pandav, creator of the iPhone application iBar that they have spotted usage records for the next generation iPhone. The firm providing analytics for the iBart application PinchMedia, allows Pandav to see what devices its applications are running on Pandav. Hence, Pandav noticed an identifier for “iPhone 3.1” in their logs.
