How to transfer iPhone contacts to SIM

One major feature the stock iPhone lacks is the transfer of your contacts from your iPhone to SIM. With a little creativity and hours of coding, this is now possible thanks to Chiappini Giovanni from BeYouriPhone.com who has released SIManager 1.4, a beta application available on Cydia that will allow you to import and export contacts for your iPhone to SIM card.

Requirements:

  • Jailbroken iPhone 2G/3G/3GS.  Instructions iPhone 2G here - iPhone 3G/3GS here
  • Cydia

Step 1 – Add Source
Now we have to add a source in Cydia so you can download the application.
Launch Cydia and select Manage from the bottom then select Sources. Select Edit from the top right side then select Add from the top left side.

Type the following in the window that pops up: test.beyouriphone.com, then select Add Source. Wait for the installation to terminate once done, select Return to Cydia.

Step 2 – Install SIManager 1.4
Still on the sources page, select BeYouriPhone > SIManager now select install > confirm. Wait for the installation to terminate.

Now you should see the SIManager icon on your springboard. Launch the application and have fun!
