As per NielsenWire, Apple iPhone is the most popular phone sold in the US.

When the iPhone first came out in 2007 even I was skeptical about it being one of the best all in one mobile phone. At that time Motorola mobile phones were the big thing, starting with the RAZR then the KRAZR and so on.

One of my friends bought the 2G iPhone from the states, since we live in Canada. I remember telling him that it was a bad investment and that Apple is good in one product and it’s obviously the MAC. Back then the iPod was also gaining popularity which was fine since it had a very unique and slick design. Slowly but surely I was convinced that this was the ultimate phone and sure enough I bought one. Today with thousands of applications available on the Apple Store and described simplicity at its best, I’m not surprised at the results. Take a look.
