Atebits, developer of the iPhone application Tweetie released version 2.1 on Sunday. The update will give users the support of geolocation.

This added feature, allows Twitter users the option of making each tweet with its position and acknowledges Twitter’s new user list and the native retweet format.

iPhone and iPod touch users who have bought the Tweetie 2 application from the Apple Store already, will get the update with this wonderful new feature for free. The update will not override existing retweets or other features of the application.
